Our 5-6ft cherry laurel plants are a great choice for starting a hedge. Their shiny, evergreen leaves mean you’ll have privacy screening and pretty colours to look at all year round. Experience the small, white flowers in spring, followed by cherry-red fruits in summer that turn black by the autumn. 

 

Cherry laurels can grow up to 2ft (60cm) per year, so it won’t be long before you’ve got an established hedge. For best results, plant 1.2 plants per metre with 80cm as the centre point. These plants can reach a full height of 4-8 metres (13-26ft) within 5 to 10 years.

 

These rootball cherry laurels can be planted straight away at any time of year. However, the best time is during October or November so the roots can establish over winter and you don’t need to water them as much. Leave the hessian on to protect the roots over winter.
